Best Definition Of Meditation, Enlightenment & Nirvana Ever!

  • 1.Meditation defined in the most accurate and  clearest way I’ve come across, in 3 quotes, and explained even further by me.
  • 2.Enlightment process described, further defined.
  • 3.The feeling of Nirvana given context and described.

I always had an issue with the definition of ‘Meditation’.  I’d heard it used and seen it written in all manner of contexts, some seeming contradictory.

I didn’t bother with understanding it, but did my own thing, going with what I knew inside and with what worked for me.  I read a description just now that is exactly what my experiences have been:
Initially, when you sit to meditate, you are not really meditating.  You are practicing concentration.  Using the classic definition, meditation begins when you are able to stop all thought in the mind.  So, until then, we practice.  We learn to focus the mind on a single object.  *
For me it began with a curiousity.  My father meditated on the floor in the dark each evening, I discovered, from the time I resided with him in Australia at 9 years old.  I would join him, and we lay next to one another in slence, at my Great Aunt’s place in Canberra where he’d been living.
After that I was doing it more from determination.  Just like I’d tried all the tricks in case they really did work- like the wriggling your nose on Bewitched.;) I wanted to gain from this exercise if it really did work, as it sounded like it’d be a huge benefit.
So, I spent time trying to meditate.  I would lie down with my eyes closed and I would experience that.  I would do the noticing the thoughts.  I would do the trying to stop them.  I would do the noticing any space, then noticing when a thought came.
In time what happens is, it just gets easier and easier.  You train yourself, quite literally.  Awarenesses along the way occur as if by magic, as you are able to notice what else is going on around you that your thoughts and your focus on the physical reality are obscuring.
Then I ran into some challenges, as I was still at this stage attracting all manner of hardships, as my ‘I could get through anything, as my whole life experience has been suffering’ style, was still creating my reality.
In absolute desperation, when I really just wanted to die, I again did the meditating thing, but this time with a “I’m gonna get there or else, I can’t stand to be alive!” attitude.
It was then I realised I knew this place as the safe place I had to go to as a child, when life was too much.  I had just taken on the current adult words and descriptions in favour of my own. Well I didn’t have the words to describe my personal experience or knowledge yet of what it was.
With practice you will learn to pass through the gateway of the chakra into dimensions of light.  Beyond these dimensions of light lies the ocean of nirvana.  The result of true mediation is the stateless state of nirvikalpa samadhi or nirvana, when the individual self is absorbed into the Universal Self.   *
Words I will use, to use common English language words, so we can easily incorporate it into a knowing in every day life are:
What happens the more you meditate, when you do hold a thoughtless space, and when your awareness becomes such that you are aware you are moving your consciousness, is you can clearly see light.
You can see passage ways toward a light.   As you are able to hold a thoughtless space for a longer time, so you can go further along, toward the light.
There are breaks or gateways where you go through a space of no light and suddenly, it is brighter and stronger as the light reappears.  I prefer the term ‘portal’ for these.  You need to pass through 3 to 5 of them – though it is not a space where you are counting!  Counting being a lower consciousness activity that involves the mind.
It IS a journey.  The longer you can hold a thoughtless space – and why it is a requirement – is, you need to travel in this state to get to where your consciousness feels to be floating in an ocean, or a cloud, or an area of absolute resonance, OF LOVE.
Whatever word you choose to best describe to you, will do, for a supportive comforting thing you cannot actually feel….;)
Floating is the way to describe it.  A warmth of feeling, but not temperature wise.  A smile comes on your face (actually it has come long before this) but here it is SO WIDE, and it is not in your conscious control, it has just happened as your energy has felt it necessary to do.
There is nothing else happening for you, except a feeling of the utmost peace, love, serenity and bliss, all wrapped up in a warmth light, that you feel has you wrapped up like in a snuggly doona/duvet.;)
It was in my state of determination and desperation “I am going there!!!”and getting there, that caused me to realize that this place is there for everyone.
I feel anyone can get there who wants to , and who knows how to, and is determined enough to.
It was my already knowing it was there, that made me able to stick it out. It was my feeling so terrible and not wanting to be alive, that gave me no other option but, to stick it out til I felt it.
During this time, I went there whenever I had the opportunity.  I was in a house where I had put string hammocks inside, as I found them the most comfortable thing.  I would climb into a hammock and I would go to the light.  I would have the intention, I made time, and that was where I was going to go.
You don’t just wake up one morning and ZAP! your enlightened…it’s an ongoing process.  Everyday brings another change. *1
I had always – since my early childhood experiences of suffering combined with church visits;)  – wanted, and intended to, attain enlightment.;)
When meditating, when you reach as high as you have been able to go, there are times when light just enters you.  It gets brighter and whiter the closer to it you get, before you can feel it.
The first time it  enters you by ‘cracking down’ it feels incredible.  I say cracking down as it looks just like  a lightning flash/bolt you may have seen on tv or in the sky.   There is a sudden warmth and flow about you and a joy, an incredible joy.
The light you see inside yourself is brighter than the light of the day, so it is really interesting to open your eyes and things are darker!  It makes you want to close your eyes again. : )
I wrote a chapter in my book  ‘Living In Me’ called  ‘Fast track to the light’,  where I explain more of my experiences, more specifics of the journey and a more detailed  ‘how to’.
It is very real this thing, this thing called joy, and unconditional unbelievable love, and divine light.  It is also there awaiting us at any time we choose to experience it.
I do not go there every day now, but only because I know it is there for me at any time.
I am still experiencing all the changes and know how we are meant to bring to earth this light.  How it transforms us, betters our life experience, maximizes our potential and alters for better, the energy of our Earth. : )

Rules For Being Human.

  • First bit is not written by me but by ‘Anonymous.   I have an idea who, but who am I to blow someone’s cover.;)  It is  excellent and I consider it well worth sharing here.
  • A few tips from me to put it into practice!.

You will receive a body.  You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

You will learn lessons.  You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life.  Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons.  You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error experimentation.  The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately “works”.

A lesson is repeated until it is learned.  A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.  When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.

Learning lessons does not end.  There is no part of life that does not contain lessons.  If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

“There” is no better than “here”. When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will, again, look better than “here”.

Others are simply mirrors of you.  You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

What you make of your life is up to you.  You have all the tools and resources you need.  What you do with them is up to you.  The choice is yours.

The answers lie inside you.  The answers to life’s questions lie inside you.  All you need to do is look, listen and trust.

You will forget all this.  By Anonymous.

It may seem hard at first to trust that what you need to know lies inside you, but let me assure you that it does.  You are not alone by any means.

Get to know inside yourself.  Spend time exploring inside you.  It is a skill to navigate our consciousness, and has only been ridiculed or named as “hippy” or “new age” by those unfamiliar, and insecure with themselves, and seeking to feel better and on familiar ground again…until they don’t again.

Our ground is not familiar though, and feeble short-term attempts to feel secure on it, will only maintain the unhappiness, that is escalating and spreading in phenomenal proportions the world over.

We are so much more than we are currently being.  The only cure is for us to Be more! : )

What’s Up With The Economy?

  • 1. ‘Economy’ defined
  • 2. How did it start?
  • 3. The Four Big  Mistakes made with money
  • 4. A historical overview in brief.
  • 5. Problems with perspective.
  • 6. Our solution- seeking creativity!
  • 7. No need to fear.

“Economy” is an invisible noun.  In language, when we find a noun that is not a place, person or object, but the name of something invisible, we are made aware that it is a creative construct of human imagination.

The economy is a fabulous example for an earlier writing, of our own creativity getting the better of us.  Definitely also an example of where we need to reign it in, and make the necessary adjustments to our own invention with our wiser and wider perspective.

A reminder of vocabulary, that  ‘nouns’ are places, people and things, and ‘proper nouns’ are names of these.

Making people reliant and subservient to money is something that was done historically by force.  It is something that was not planned in the long-term, with the long-term in mind, or with a picture of what the long-term may become.  It was done in a narrow and focussed way, in a way that would build a perceived strength of an individual country.  It was done without consideration of any consequences.

The largest sums/gold were mainly for exchange of arms.

To make people dependent on earning an income, they were forcibly evicted from their own homes and lands, unless they began to pay ‘taxes’ to the ‘crown’ or declared head of state/ruler, equivalent to our ‘rent’ and ‘rates’ words used today.

Mistakes with the Invention we call money.

1. the first mistake made with the invention called money or currency, is that it was given no use-be date.  I consider it a brilliant idea, to have a convenient form of exchange or trade, if you did not want my oranges, or I your beans.  Then to be able to exchange this ‘token’ for goods, and with a use by date clearly indicated.

2. the second mistake  made with money was when it was able to make its own money.  When it was given ‘interest’ making ability. This idea was a solution as it was wanted by others – who didn’t ‘own it’ to be used, and to attract more others to let them use it also.

3. the third mistake  made with money, was when things were ‘floated’ and sold off or privatized.  As money was wanted and needed even more so to be made available.

4. the fourth mistake made with money but linked to no. 3, is that money now makes money faster that a human can.

The economy was not designed  so that it could last as it is, and quite simply, it cannot.  It was designed without any forethought to consequence.

It was designed and implemented by men, fully focussed on a project, and without an ability to ascertain consequence.  This is something someone in the form Man cannot actually do so well as  a Woman, and he is not designed to.   Man is the problem solver in the immediate here and now.

Determining consequence is way easier for a woman to do, as her form enables her this. (See my series of writings on Men & Women Explained*.)

In some other cultures, such as Native American Indian tribes, those in the form of Woman decided/voted after the men, as it was considered that their job was to foresee and determine for the future generations.

At this time historically, no women were involved in any of the decision processes in our predominantly English ruled society.  Or if there were, they were doing so more as a what I call a female- man*, or a woman figure-head only.

There was not the understanding of ourselves,as Human Beings and our abilities, as there is available today.  It was a society ruling and living in fear and suspicion and mistrust.  It was not a society capable of determining what was best all-round for all individuals and the organism earth as a whole.

There was intention to take in the larger picture, and an awareness that it was a good idea, but it was not humanly possible for these men to do.  The ‘largest’ picture they were able to comprehend, was that of the state – their own ‘state’.  Legislation by these men clearly indicates they wished for this , as representative of the very largest consideration possible to these people.  At this time in history, it was still unimaginable what the scale of the world was and if it was flat or another shape altogether.

The way I see it, bringing the largest perspective into it, that is easier for me in my form as a Woman, and with my knowledge of all that we are as Humans, I say let’s declare there is a problem, so that we can involve our solution-seeking creativity to sort it out.  While we are still fiddling around and trying to pretend to “balance” it, we can’t come to a real and proper solution.

There is nothing that we cannot do, to bring about a solution to something that came about, as a result of our own creativity.

To Be Human Is To Create.  It is where we are at our absolute best.

As many of us already know, we attract things to us, as the vibrational energy beings that we are.  Wealth and abundance are not limited to our money invention, and nor is a state of lack.  Having the faith that we will attract to us, that which resonates with us, and keeping ourselves emotionally and energetically in good health, will see us through any perceived challenging time.  It is only ignorance (without knowledge) that has some people assume  the human invention ‘money’ is the only wealth there is!

LET’S  ENABLE  OURSELVES  TO  USE  OUR  SOLUTION-SEEKING CREATIVITY.  LET’S  NAME  THE  PROBLEM  TO  BE  SOLVED!  : )

On Just Being…I take up the challenge to define it!

  • 1.Just ‘Being’ defined.
  • 2.What is being in a thoughtless space.
  • 3.What else happens when there are no thoughts
  • 4. Why just Being is a goal we want to achieve as Humans

I am taking words maestro Mr Joel Roberts up on his  challenge!  At his seminar ‘The Language Of Impact’ in Los Angeles last February,  he said that ‘Being’ was beyond description.  It is a place I know well, since beginning to seek safety in the higher realms of consciousness as a small child, when the only place I had to run away to, was as far as I could get behind my eyes.

One example of this is when my older brother would come into my bedroom at night.  He was encouraged to hurt me , actually to attempt to kill me, so it would look like a home accident , at my mother’s ‘order’.  She had an escape route this way and was a firm believer in the old British teachings “people have children to do their dirty work”.  She wanted me removed from the picture, and this way she would not be held responsible.

My brother grew frustrated, as what he did to me only injured me, gave me scars and gave him a feeling of inadequacy.  I could sense his annoyance and I did my best to avoid him at all times.

I could not get away when he visited me in bed however, and he would step up onto it, so he was standing on top of me.  He would pin me down with his shoes and hold a foot up over me, then stamp around me, threatening to stamp on my body and head, moving his foot to just miss me and hit the bedclothes.

This is one example of when I would go as far, and as fast, behind my eyes as I could.  There was no other place to go, as my body was being restricted and controlled.

Joel Roberts is a former prime time talk show host on KABC Radio, Los Angeles.  Today, Joel is president of his own media and communications consulting firm, in L.A and New York.

‘Being’ is a feeling state, and a higher, more evolved state, than just thinking.  To achieve a  ‘feeling state’, requires a controlled cease, of thought activity, or what I call the thought ‘conveyor belt’.

It is our efficiency of design that sees to it, that thoughts flow along what I call the ‘corridor’ or ‘conveyor-belt’ behind our ‘mind foyer’.  These thoughts are given us, by our subconscious, and are thoughts that connect/attach/associate with, everything, that we experience in any given moment from all of our senses and abilities.

In my Self Mastery course structure, “Human Being Essentials”, I have Thought Mastery at semester 1, with Feeling Mastery at semester 2 or beyond, to demonstrate the higher level and governing influence, of the power of feeling energy.

‘Being’ is a superior, specialized, advanced, higher, more evolved, state, than thinking or doing. It is the ability to hold a state of a feeling regardless of what goes on around you, it is a non-reactionary constant state.  For example:

I can just Be love and restfulness or

Be blissful contentment or

Be pure raw sexual energy or

Be peacefulness or

Be radiant love or

Be Creative energy or

Be righteous guidance or

Be loving compassion or

Be healing sound or

Be Woman energy or

Be Divine light or

Be vital enthusiasm or

Be contagious fun and joy and so on.

When we can hold a thoughtless space, we allow for what else is available to us as Human Beings.

What then happens, is information arrives inside us, without us putting it there.  Without us needing to access it from our memory, our thought space or anywhere else.  We do not need to think it, imagine it, dream it or otherwise.

Information – or an idea – ‘comes to us’.  The words ‘come to mind’ may be used here, and you may have already experienced this happen.

It may be an amusing thought – our spirit guidance loves it when we laugh.

It may be the answer to something you already wanted to know.

It may operate like a commentary, where you get data that corresponds with what your eyes scan.

It may be the answer to a life drama, where you are ‘guided’ – given the idea – of the next moves you need to make for your life.

You may receive this information as thoughts that are similar to ones you create, or you may see it visually as though you are watching a DVD.  It may come to you in a way that is unique to you.

In this space you can trust that you will know what you need to know when you need to know it.  This is the “faith” that is referred to in the Bible and similar of any known religious ‘Faith’.

In this disciplined thoughtless space there is no need at all, to be thinking about anything.

The fantastic consequence of achieving this ability, is Life is magnified exponentially in this state.  Every bit of energy that you usually put into thinking goes into receipt of life.

Every sense is magnified to the extent that you cannot believe, believe me.;)

The universe rewards us with an increase in sensitivity.  ESP or extra-sensory perception, also known as being psychic, is only a natural consequence of spending time in your higher levels of consciousness.

As time goes on, life just gets better and better and makes more and more sense.

I could spend hours absorbing just what my eyes take in, when I look at a tree, the depth of colour, the zoom ability, it is absolutely incredible, and all because I am not thinking.

Sexual pleasure takes on whole new height of ecstasy, as we are able to be fully present in this activity – ‘Being Present’ is just being another way of saying ‘Being Conscious’ or ‘holding a thoughtless space’.  Tantra is just another way of  saying ‘Living Consciously’ but it is for sex that it is more widely associated.

No time spent holding – or attempting to hold – a thoughtless space, is wasted as  rewards being to occur straight away.  The first of which is thinking is actually easier and sharper, and we tend to notice an increase in our senses as time goes on.

These rewards continue to build and increase until we leave the earth.

It is simply Human to master your thoughts.

Begin with noticing them.  Bring an awareness of them to your consciousness.  Have the intent to begin to notice them.

Notice when they first arrive, do you have a pattern to them?  What thought do you get when?  Are they ‘ad hoc’, appearing to you ‘willy nilly’, or are they associated with what you are looking at?

And very importantly, notice the space between the thoughts.   There is one, no matter how small or inconsequential at first, and this is an essential part of Thought Mastery.

You are alive now….but being able to just Be…is Being  A.L.I.V.E !!!!   : )

Replacing Eating Confusion With Eating Clarity!

A reminder to us of why we eat, to bring clarity after years/centuries of confusion.

We in Human form are the kings/queens/managers and caretakers of all our cells, thoughts, emotions, abilities, and energy.   We have a body for the duration of our life here on Earth until it tires out and must cease activity.

We must take care of it, water it, provide it with nutrients our cells require for functioning, so that it can get us about.

As humans we are creativity, and there is no better example of how confused we can become from our own creativity, than that of our confusion with eating.   Then there is all the confusing information about ‘dieting’ itself, and how to lose the extra physical substance we add onto ourselves when we ‘mess up’ our eating.  So many of us are unhealthy because of what we are putting into our mouths, as food.

But first of all, relax!  There is historical explanation for this widespread confused state that Humanity is experiencing, and how health got left behind.

To make that which is nutritious for us, palatable and digestible.   That is what we are meant to be doing and have all the ability to do.  Making foods that provide us with our energy requirements, tasty to eat, rather than eating something just because it  is tasty!!

Much confusion has arisen simply from historic emphasis on economic growth over health.   As people travelled to explore and seek new lands, trade resulted in new foods, new dishes, new potential markets for money-making ideas.   The concepts “breakfast, luncheon, dinner” are just words that were not around when we first had meals.  They were made popular with economic growth – the difference between ‘the haves’ and ‘the have-nots’ – a fancy word given to describe a meal you knew you were going to have.   Other words “tea, supper, brunch”, all words to describe a meal.

Massive popular advertising ensued.  To have these things, to be able to eat these foods ‘made you better’, ‘made your life better’ , and the use of ‘governing by etiquette’ had it that you wanted these things for when you invited people over, so you were ‘seen to be’ doing well/better.  It was an enormous all-consuming continual advertising campaign, as the media grew, and as inventions enabled it more and more coverage for greater distribution and influence.

These days we can look back with the insight that, when there is less choice, and when there is less bombardment of stimuli, we know that life is actually easier.

We have now experienced the disadvantages of many of these new food products, and many of us are going against the popular tide, returning to the healthy reliability of natural foods,  Interestingly the popular tide itself is now turning, and ‘healthy natural organic places are also the  favourite places of the elite and those who can afford more.

It has become so that those without any income at all, and those in the top income tier are eating natural foods!  What does this tell us about food and use of food for economic promotion?  It says “Been there, done that, and now we know better”!!

All of this extra confusing information aside, remember that we are fully capable of nurturing our bodies – you are fully capable of it.  The size of our brain potential, our creativity ability, and our hand structure, all make it so that we can all do this.

back to basics

As we are creativity, and competition has led us to focus this with food and selling of food,  much that is available for purchase I do not consider to be food anymore.

What once began as a food, I now consider has been turned into an artwork. What we see, smell, taste and even hear as we bite into it, is all valid and lovely for us to experience.   Is it a taste sensation artwork?  Full of sugar for an instant, overwhelming experience or high  A visual artwork?  To marvel at the colours and construction.   Or is it a textural experience, with a warmth and an icy cold, or a crunch with something soft?

The above pic I chose to share the famous cake stores in Acland Street St Kilda, Melbourne Australia.   There are many examples around the world of stores with displays of colourful creativity on display.   The chocolate shops in Edinburgh, the pastry shops in France, delicatessens around the world, showing wonderfully creative inventions, expertly produced and packaged….

I get a high from seeing such craftsmanship and skill.  I enjoy the colour combinations, the combination of textures and ingredients.  I can really appreciate the human skill involved.  I love it when people do their best to bring out an idea.  I feel nurtured by experiencing this and feel energetically lifted and inspired.

However, I do not want to eat it.  I do not want to put it inside my body as fuel.  I do really enjoy staring in the windows.  I do go inside the shops to enjoy the creativity…the art, as though I am in a gallery.   It is something that I do not want to clog up my intestines with at all.  The most I would do is taste it, but I find I can practically taste it with my imagination as I gaze at the art, to make consuming  it unnecessary.  My spinach and rice creations are a far better fuel.

how basic?

As we want our body to be energetically maintained.  We want to eat that which gives us energy, with minimal energetic loss.

This also means eating what makes us feel good….not just what tastes good.

Using your creativity to help you to feel good.  Or do you eat to feel good?  Why are you only feeling good when you eat?  You are distracting yourself from the energy/feelings/thoughts that are ripe to be cleared from you.

I go more into preoccupation with eating in another writing, but for a long time now,(centuries) it has been one of the few acceptable body enjoyments we have been allowed while being in what I call a predominant Mind existence and a Body Denial existence

As a human being you have the ability to know that it is your responsibility to look after your body, and to be able to give your body the food it requires.  You have the potential to look after all of your needs.  The intent of wanting to know this, creates the place in you, to receive it.

As energy beings, we have the responsibility to govern our energy and food mastery plays a bit part in this.

I LOVE having a fit body.  The ease it gives me as I live my life.  The urge I get to run up a hill…or roll down one.  To go quickly from a sitting to a lying position to a dance position.  To be spontaneous, to swing from a vine if I came across one!

All of this I can take for granted that I can do, because I keep my body well.  I feed and water it regularly like it is my favourite pet. I look after it with more care than the concern with which I fuel, oil and air pressure check my car.;)

It was not always this way for me.

I was raised being force-fed a set amount – a ‘child serve’ – and the equivalent size to my brother who was over 3 years older.  I was not allowed to leave the table until I had “finished my plate”.  I was pestered and verbally insulted as the norm as my mother and brother sat watching me the entire time they were also at the table.  No other conversation aside from abusing me , ever occurred, as in fact a conversation ability itself  was lacking and limited to critical comments/attack on what was seen, but more on that another time.;)

It was a hard wooden adult’s chair and the food just got colder and colder.  I did not often like the meals prepared, that repeated over and over again with no variation.  Though it was too much for me to eat, it was interpreted as “down right disobedience” if I did not “finish” my plate.

A great Aunt once took pity on me.  Seeing me still at the table a long time after everyone else had left, staring at the cold heap on my plate, she silently removed it.  This happened one time, but it was only once she or someone else was around us at this time, or any other!

I was not given opportunity to learn my food intake and individual needs when first relating to food, and it has taken time of healing and discovery.   We each are different and need to learn to respect our body’s process of digestion.

Approaching ourselves in an enquiring way, allowing for our body’s needs to be different from what is on telly, allowing to ‘listen’ to our body, allows a connection to develop that alters our mind-set, and makes it easy to care for our body the way we need to.

I learned early on in the family home, that the only way to be able to leave the table and to get away from these people was to eat the food, then to vomit it back up, when I had got to safety upstairs.  I began doing this perhaps as early as seven years old, and my own creativity had given me this solution-seeking suggestion.

This was such an upside down, backwards, Alice in Wonderland, madness nonsense household, where it was more important – to the extent of being drilled in a shouting voice – how you were holding your knife and fork, than a place to give your body the food you required for health and well being.  And most interestingly of all, this was all done, by an educated British woman, doing what she had been taught.

I feel it is possibly the way people begin bulimia, that they think of it themselves, without needing to be given the idea.  It is actually a clever solution, to bypass a bodily function, and it can be a helpful skill if you consume something harmful to ingest.  It takes a certain amount of thinking ‘outside the box’ and the anorexics and bulimics I came across in various hospitals that I crossed paths with, on my own healing journeys from a range of accidents/injuries, were always the most creative, interesting and intelligent girls.

My experience of my introduction to food and eating, was just another part of the battle for me to be living in this home, aiming on being the best Human Being I could be, while having to live under this ruling nonsense around me.  Beginning with no understanding of it, led me to need to learn from scratch.

I approach eating as providing myself with my nutritional requirements.  I do not eat for any other reason.  I was the manager of a food co-operative in Canberra in the late 80’s, and I learned much from this position.  The enjoyment I get from being fit and healthy and being able to rely on my body, far outweighs for me, any enjoyment I get from a brief sensation when I am consuming something.

To be able to manifest all that we can be, to be able to contain all that we bring down to the earth plane, does require a high level of physical health, posture, and energetic health.

If in doubt don’t eat it.

Of course enjoy taste sensations, but know them to be that, something for your senses to enjoy.  Your eyesight sense, your taste bud sense, the aroma, for your sense of smell.  However, it is arguably not food as it is not fuel, that is mostly beneficial to intake or consume.  A case of do the benefits outweigh the possible cons! : )

I have been a vegetarian for twenty-five years or more, vegan for some of it, and mostly an eater of fresh food.  For me, the feeling originally was such that I did not want to continue to eat animals, as I felt badly.  Therefore, it was energetically an improvement for me to decide to cease eating animals.  All other animals were more family to me than my own family.;)

I discovered soon after the many benefits of a vegetarian diet.  Many people are being conscious of environmental consequences and eating free range organic produce, including meat.  It is energetically responsible for us, not to cause ourselves energetic discomfort from what we eat.  We want to choose what contains for us the most energy also, choosing the healthiest, most energy filled choice/specimen.

We are meant to know the source of our food, and we contain within ourselves all the potential ability to know this.  If you are caused to feel uncomfortable, when you learn of the source of a food, if it does not feel right or if it feels agitating, know that you are meant to find another food source.

It is all energy, and our responsibility as Human Beings, is to maintain ourselves in energetic health.  Part of this energetic health, is our natural responsibility to the larger energetic organism we live on, Earth! : )

If I cannot feel the energy from a ‘food’ , I do not consider it a food at all.   : )

Confidence is our birthright.

Confidence is our birthright.  We contain at birth, all the confidence we will ever need.

This writing examines the what, whys and hows, why it is lacking, and why getting it back is vital.  The long and short of it, is this is a long;) but necessarily so!

Historically, removing confidence was a proven tactic,  to achieve greater control and discipline over others, so it became part of the system adopted and relied upon, within our developing society.

Our culture is predominantly from English rule and development through the centuries, and this was one largely based upon fear and mistrust of others.

It was considered disobedient, heretic, and unlawful historically, to question one’s own self from greater understanding, and could risk death or imprisonment, as it was was seen as direct disobedience and/or disrespect to the crown or the church at that time.   They were the nucleus of Britain’s societal structure, and any threat to these functioning, needed to be quelled/stifled/stopped.

Confidence comes naturally from self knowing.  When a human being is unable to know itself, confidence can be naturally lacking in epidemic proportions…as it is today.

“I reclaim all confidence I may have lost in moments of stress, shock or upset, or had taken, or have given freely away, to be in my full strength in this present moment.”

So what is confidence exactly? It is our ability to just know we can do something.  It is with us with our every action, our every movement, our every consideration.  It is not something that is separate from us at all and we actually need to consciously separate it ourselves, in order to give it away, or to let someone take it from us, in order that we can be without it.

*confidence – full trust; belief in the trustworthiness or reliability of a person or a thing; self-reliance, assurance or boldness (Macquarie,Aust.’91)

When a cat gets up and crosses a room, it does so with the confidence it has in knowing it will reach the other side.  In the confidence it has in its ability to move its limbs.  In the confidence it has in its ability to discern that there is no hidden danger in the carpet, or behind the curtain;) A human baby takes a step, after it has the confidence in standing and moving legs and feet.  Action, then consequence, from confidence in desired outcome, and from ability experienced.  Not a conscious thing at all, it is completely naturally inherent.

So confidence is something we naturally have.

We cannot have a ” bit of confidence” or a “lot of confidence”.  This is actually not accurate usage of the meaning of the word, we just have it.  We contain all the confidence we need for our entire lives.  The word has just been misused among others.  Most likely feelings you could mix up with the word, are really those of uncertainty, nervousness or apprehension.  These are very different feelings, and are useful to us, for what they can share when we read them correctly, behave accordingly, then release them from us.

Know that you have confidence, and that you always have enough.

So why do some of us feel we don’t have any?

To feel a lack in natural confidence is an ill-health issue, BUT, in human beings, undermining natural confidence, was a chosen strategy, or course of action for the development of a number of different branches within society.

It was a strategy that had proven it’s worth for many years in the military.  In the development of our society, the military had a prominent role, and given prominent consideration in political circles.  Still much that we get, inventions, services and products, that are made available, began as instruments for military use.  Another definition of undermine, is ‘to make a passage under, as in military operations’.

The very fact that it is called “undermining confidence”* proves that we have it already, and it is needed to be reduced/depleted/minimised.

* undermine – to render unstable by digging into or wearing away at the foundation; to affect injuriously or weaken by secret or underhand means; to weaken insidiously; destroy gradually.(Macquarie, Aust.’91)

It is much harder to control or influence a people who are confident with who they are.  As we are all equal as human beings, it is vital, if a society is of a construct that requires a hierarchy within it, that the majority of human beings believes they are of little worth, and that they are dependent on others for their very well-being.

Undermining confidence, in order that it could be earned back in an approved manner.  Undermining confidence to make for a more subservient group. Undermining confidence to make for a group that was more easily controlled.

Opportunity to win back confidence, or to earn back confidence, could then be a chosen method of motivation.

My own childhood made this very clear.

I can still recall the tone used by my mother when she shouted at me in complete frustration and almost disbelief, with a screwed up face, narrowed eyes and a horrible tone :  “Where did you get that confidence?”  Not from her obviously!;)

She required me to have none.  She expected me to have none.  She had done her hardest to insure I had none.  She herself told me of the army’s need to undermine confidence to get the troops into shape. I hear the words “undermine confidence” with her voice to it still, of her using the words with me when I was a little girl.

At this time , and particularly in my mother’s time, children were still considered by some to be second class citizen, mini labourers, by those with the teachings of Victorian England very much rooted in their consciousness.  There was no children’s vocabulary or separate words used by my mother when speaking to me, she used military vocabulary, and gave orders, as had been used on her.

My mother’s world did not work, if I already had confidence.  But have it I did, quite naturally.  That it needed to be ‘undermined’ also demonstrates that it is inherent in us from birth.

She needed to remove it, in order that I could earn it back somehow.  In order that I would be motivated to achieve respect for myself through some work or study avenue, or by obeying her every whim, in the hope that she would one day cast me an approving glance.

It did not feel right to me at all to give away my confidence, to someone I did not trust.

As the home I was born into offered me at no time a safe trusting place, I did not give my confidence away.  It just was not a convincing prospect ever.

There was no time that my mother said something to me that I trusted, or even pretended to be nice.  It therefore made no sense to me, to give away my confidence to her.  I was never given an incentive to believe this individual telling me what to do, had my best interests at heart.  I knew she didn’t.  I did not have any confidence in her!;)).

Fairytales were full of children running away, and making it on their own, and I had plans.  I had a secret life, and she made no attempt to get to know me – I was to be only as she dictated – so in fact I was a secret.

I ran away at five years old, and sat for the longest time on the front steps of the sweet shop, thinking it over.  I returned myself and unpacked my little case as I had nowhere to go, and I realised I couldn’t make it on my own.  I did plan to make it on my own at some stage though, I just didn’t know when, so I hung onto my confidence, as I knew I was going to need it.

A television show that we watched was “It Ain’t Half Hot Mum” a show about a British regiment stationed in India.  Amongst the characters was a very strong and belittling sergeant-major, who yelled at the rest of the men in derogatory ways.  “You lowdown piece of scum you.”

My mother had been an acting Sergent Major and words like ‘on parade’, ‘forward march’, ‘ready for inspection’, were commonly used by her.

Common words she also used were:

“worthless child”, (worthless;without worth, useless, valueless, of no importance)

“stupid, ignorant child” (stupid; lacking ordinary activity & keenness of mind, mental dullness, tediously dull),

“you wretch” (wretch;deplorably unfortunate, a person of despicable character)

These were all words that were acceptable confidence controllers by her military mind.

If she had a query, or if her attention was caught, she would begin it with a  “What’s wrong with you now child

The combination of, the removal of confidence and respect, in order that they could be a useful motivator for participation in key areas within society, is still functioning to this day.

An example of this, is to study for a ‘certificate’ course/’diploma’ course/’degree’.  Once you have been part of a study course and proven yourself, or from job experience, or received an award by way of certificate, or trophy, that makes us certain we can be ‘confident’ in that area.

We can receive a title in some cases that gives us back more respect among our peers and ‘subordinates’*. (*More on this in another writing.)

In addition to removal of inherent confidence and respect, it was also considered important what others may think, and I feel this could possibly be and most likely is, the origin of the development of what I call ‘false realities’.  Falsely wanting people to believe they had some experience they hadn’t. or completed a course in something they hadn’t.   Just to get back the respect that they were entitled to from birth anyway.

When our society was planned, it was done so without knowledge at all of what we are.  There was none of the knowledge on the Human Being, that is available today, or how to maintain ourselves in health or even what our needs are.

It was also planned by those who did not and were not able to historically, perceive the consequences of their legislation.

Traditionally in some other cultures, it is specifically the women, who make a determining decision, as they are the ones who are considered able to foresee for the generations.  British political history contained no such balance.

It was planned largely by those who wanted for themselves a better life, and who were mostly suspicious of all others, mostly in ill health of one kind or another, and mostly confused about what marks/shapes/constitutes a life priority from an irrelevance!!!

Lacking in confidence is not the same thing as being shy, anxious, apprehensive or fearful.

Being shy, bashful, timid, introverted, keeping to one’s self are not the same thing as lacking in inherent confidence.  Feelings are to be felt.  Feelings can be indicators of much : do it anyway!

I was painfully shy as I was spent most of my time during my early childhood years feeling emotionally crushed, and being directly ordered that I was “worthless”.  I considered myself an “emotional void” at one time, so aware was I that I had such a build up of emotional injuries, that I had stopped registering their pain.

I was not able to look anyone in the eye, or hold my head up in order to do that.  I consciously needed to heal this within myself, and did so in a systematic way, giving myself suggestions and trial behaviours to cure my shyness.  I realised that someone can see me just as much, if I looked at them shyly, partially and sideways, as if I looked at them directly square on!

I realised that we choose our actions, and our actions become our behaviour, and our behaviours are what makes us, and we become who we decide to be.

Reclaiming confidence…

A quote I came across that resonates with me is “Procrastination is the evil nemesis of confidence”.

How we put things off, coming up with excuse after excuse to do everything else, but the thing we are wanting to do!   We can also decide to do it anyway!  I like to use the phrase ‘what irks us the most, is where we are ripest for growth’ for these things.

Where we need to take a ‘step up’ in our behaviours, to incorporate a new activity or achievement, demonstrates to us that it is forward, higher, or growth for us, on our path.

It is recommended to take ‘baby steps’ towards the difficult challenge, doing it breakdown by breakdown, bit by bit, nibbling away at it.  It is when we are certain that something is challenging for us, that we know we are in the right direction.  We know we are growing!

Shyness is a feeling.  Feel it…then do it anyway!    Some of us are naturally more insecure or shy than others and this can be as simple as astrological determiners/alignment of the solar system at time of conception.  These are our ‘cards’ but they are not set and we can develop ourselves through our own personal growth, knowing what are strengths and weaknesses are, but  more on this in another writing…

To ‘know oneself’ is so important so we know what we have to work with,  what we can discard, and what we can work on….to BE all we can Be…with confidence!  : )

Life Enhancing Top 3 Tips.

Life enhancing comes from thought control.

When you are in the place between your thoughts, and just ‘being’, all your energy goes into receiving life at that moment.  Eyesight, hearing, touch, taste and smell senses, all skyrocket! The more time spent in that place only makes them more sensitive still.

The word ‘bionic’ from the Bionic Man show starring Lee Majors is how I also relate to what has occurred with my vision!   The term ‘magical’ describes improvements in other senses that are unexplainable with vocabulary and understanding from my first human anatomy training.

Any touch or sexual pleasure is heightened to an unbelievable degree, as all sensory receptivity allows it to be.

In the place without thoughts, is where you also meet the other senses awaiting you, or rather you find you just have these abilities from then on, and they also only improve from the more time spent in the non thinking space.

1.  I absolutely encourage everyone to spend time locating a space between thoughts.

It is completely irrelevant in the beginning if there is one yet or not, as what you are doing is making your consciousness identify such a place.   What you are doing is laying the ground work of electrical hard wiring, so that you understand – by association – your own new vocabulary for this.

2. Know it is there.  Do it regularly.  It will be worth it I promise!!!!

Notice everything you can do that does not activate the mind, such as listening, seeing, touching and sensing.  Take to conscious awareness that these do not involve thinking, or the mind.

3.  Know that it is in the being, not the thinking that you meet you.

If you feel fear, sadness or other very strong emotions you know you are SPOT ON in the right place!!  Well done!

These are the feelings awaiting clearance from your being.  These are the accumulation of uncleared/unprocessed energies from past experiences, waiting in front of, and under, the ‘draw-bridge’ of your real true conscious self!

Imagine a castle with a moat around it from tales of old.  A castle with a drawbridge that can be lowered over the moat to allow for entry into a festive celebration inside.

Your old remnant unexpressed energies fill the moat.  Your courage, and new-found techniques to clear them, are the drawbridge, and your enhanced and freely cleared being, is the party inside!! : )

We Know Mind, Body, Spirit, But What About The Shen?

The Shen is the aspect of us, the Human Being, that is indicative of what lies beyond.

The Shen is the shine, light or reflection we can see in our eyes.

The Shen resides in the heart chakra, and is visible when we look at something with love, or undertake an activity from a feeling of love.

The Shen is the source of our greatest creativity.

The Shen is most visible in those of us who regularly do creative tasks from a position of love.  The Shen grows brighter and brighter, as it is regularly used.

When we tell a lie, the Shen is not visible at all, and the eye may appear to have a cloud or a dull veil thrown over it.

No one else in other dimensions will assist lies, so the absence of Shen – the absence of white light – demonstrates that you are operating on your own!

When we do an activity from our Shen, ALL that we are is enabled, so we are easily able to achieve things that may even surprise us – until we know where it comes from and grow accustomed to ‘the way’!

We have spirit guides and more who can enjoy contributing at these times, when we are in an innocence, and a purity about us, that has us holding ourselves in a fixed state of creativity, with an intent that is good for all.

It is at these times when The Shen is strongest in us.

It is at these times, with our Shen engaged, when we can literally achieve the ‘impossible’! : )

What happens when we cry? / What’s crying about?

  • why humans cry
  • how it occurs
  • how I know

My father left me in the ‘crying room’ of a British childcare facility, saying to me in a voice with a strong Hungarian accent, and a gentle tone “do not cry my darling girl or I will cry”.

I was left on a low wooden frame bed, maybe half a foot from the floor, that just had hessian stretched over it.   They were lined up in rows, and the window had more hessian cloth over it to keep the room dark.  There was nothing else in it.

There was nothing else to do except to lie on the bed and cry.  The door was ajar and you were only able to leave if you would not cry.  If you ‘wanted’ to cry you had to return to the room.  I can recall feeling good about myself when I hadn’t needed to return to it for a while.

Some of us were very small.  So small, that we had to also wash and dry our knees from crawling, in addition to our hands, before we got a meal.  I can recall my parents arguing over my placement there, and it ending with my mother’s instruction to my father in a harsh, ordering, conclusive tone, “she will get used to it. ”

The purpose of our tears are to cool the face, keep our internal temperature down, diffuse our energy and to protect precious organs from overheating/over stressing.   Internal energy rises in us, in order to leave us via expression from our mouths.  Our chi/ki/prana/subtle or inner energy carries with it, the frequencies of our distressful feeling.

When energy is strong enough/’loaded’/ ‘heated’/’emotive’,  as to rise quickly or forcefully into our head, our body’s reaction is to protect our precious head extremity from over heating, or becoming over laden with energy.

Our head contains our vulnerable eyes and brain, and our design assists in preventing rising temperatures, and in neutralising the effect of energy building up, so the energy is released in the form of sound frequencies that can accompany the tears in the form of ‘sobbing’.

How perfect that our energy at its most intense, needs to pass through a fixture that has available to it, fluid to keep the eyes clean.  This fluid – contained in ‘tear ducts’, are our eyes’ first defence against foreign particles that may come into contact with the outer eye.  We naturally weep and the foreign particle is carried out from obstructing our view, to a corner of our eye for easier removal, if not flushed from the eye completely.

These tear-ducts serve a dual purpose and are activated when we need to release energy at the intensity that may be problematic for any of the rest of our being/body/self.   Our breathing can get heaved, we can get discomfort in our diaphragm, we can get aching  jaws or a headache from a frowned forehead. It is important that we have a way or protect our eyes and by crying we also assist energetic release from us, to cool down what we exacerbate from our moving energy.

The sound that we release when we cry, is in itself, is a vital release of energy that we no longer need, or want to contain, within our being. Screaming and laughing are included in this and I go into these in another writing.  The heaving, or spasming that happens over our rib-cage, enables stuck grief from past hurts to dislodge and to join the rest of the grief energy as it is released form you.

My experiences with crying continued as I was encouraged by my mother to do more of it.  “Go to your room and have a good cry about it”  she would say with a disturbing smile.   Or “go and have a good blubber about it”,  blubber being a derogatory English word referring to crying that I had heard my grandfather use before her.

I grew to enjoy my crying time – well, it’s all relative isn’t it;)- or at least the way I felt when I did it.  It was the only time I felt creatively free to express myself completely.  There was no one standing over me ordering me how to do it, what position to be in, or how to sound.  There was no one berating me for not being able to it “right” or “normally”, or “as was ordered”.   This was extremely refreshing for me.

It was the time I felt the most relaxed in the family home.  I was usually left undisturbed, so felt safer then, and what had happened to cause my crying usually meant I was going to be unhurt for while.  It was now up to me to make myself feel better.  And, this is precisely what crying enables us.  It also allows us to shape our emotional body, which in turn affects our receptivity, and our reaction to, our surroundings.

Some countries have always accepted emotional expression as a natural part of being us.  Wailing or loud grief sounds are expected in some cultures and language groups, to mourn a passing of  a loved one for example.

It has been traditionally a very English habit to keep “stiff upper lip” or not to express what we are naturally feeling.  Non recognition of our feelings is an enormous contributing cause of our global health crisis, and the English speaking population was notoriously very unhealthy historically.

It became very ‘proper’ in the English speaking world at one time, to not resemble anything natural, and to ‘behave in appropriate particular predetermined ways’ rather than to react naturally to something.   This was refered to as ‘good manners’ and ‘to show good breeding’, also ‘gentleman’ and ‘lady’ behaviour.

Being polite and courteous is one thing, and these are a natural part of showing respect, that is a quintessentially human need, but to contort natural behaviours so that they are set or rehearsed, and disconnected from any present stimuli, is ridiculous to say the least!

As I became skilled at crying, screaming it out, allowing as much frustration and pain to leave in every heave, in time, even my crying was taken from me, with a mean toned order to “stop your crying….the neighbours will hear you.”

Not being allowed to cry, then led to ‘depression’ or a feeling of complete disconnected numbness, as I literally became smothered or had all my vitality suffocated, by my own unexpressed ‘suffering’ energy.  Crying is a natural and healthy human reaction to stimuli, and we have no reason to feel uncomfortable if we understand it’s benefits and purpose.

I had discovered that sometimes sounds would just want to come out without tears when I was crying, sounds that I was not consciously shaping or ‘making’, but were just coming out of me.  Sounds that I did not even know was possible to make.

I was not allowed to make these either after a while and would receive a “Stop that noise, what’s wrong with you now child?  But I had experienced them, as a completely natural, spontaneous event.

I gave a sound healing demonstration at the Woodford Folk Festival, Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Australia, and in Inspiral Lounge, Camden Town, London, and for each of these times I went into detail specifically how my experiences of crying, had led to my knowledge of sound release.   And particularly of the benefits of allowing whatever sounds to leave us, that need to at the time, without any judgement of ours imposed upon them or our release process.

When we cry, we do not usually monitor ourselves critically like we may do when we sing or speak – so it really can be the only time we allow unconscious control of sound to emerge from us.  I doubt there has been a time when you have gone “Oh…that wasn’t a very good sounding cry!”   We tend to ‘let go’ and to allow whatever sound, that wants to come out of us, to come.  This is also precisely the sound that needs to leave us to bring about the most healing!

If only we would ‘let go’ more, in all aspects of life!

Stimuli, response.  Stimuli, response.  Stimuli, response.

Trust that your being gives you the response that you require for energetic maintenance.

We, as human beings, are a naturally occurring organism, with natural needs.

Stimuli, cry.  Stimuli, laugh.  Stimuli, make love.  Stimuli, response. : )

I Think Therefore I Am? No.

  • correction of an historical human error that holds us back.

I feel,  I think,  I speak,  I create, therefore I am.

This is actually far more accurate, than the original ‘I think therefore I am’ if we must condense us down to one sentence at all.;)

So much has been based upon the ‘”I think” therefore I am’ claim,  for me to comment on its correction.

I feel.  We had it only partly right.  It is our feelings – or emotional body – that governs our thought process. We feel first, and what we are feeling, will largely – if not solely – determine what we are going to think of.

I speak.  For me, it was my not producing a sound, that made my mother feel more comfortable with my existence.  It was when I began to make sounds that were starting to be speech, that she made plans for my demise.  For me to speak, made me undeniably exist.

Our sound is our very life essence, and our greatest creative tool.  Our voice is our soul and our life force carried on our breath, as it passes through the unique instrument that we are.  The internals of our face and skull, I liken to the inside of a shell that we can blow into on the beach.

I create.  ‘To be Human is to create’ absolutely.  We do our creating from our feelings, and our feelings determine what we will think of creating.  We create our lives with our speech from our word choice and speech habit.  We create our world around us from our opposable thumb ability enabling us dexterity and productivity with our hands.

We create our world around us, according to how we feel.  It is not what happens to us, but how we feel about it, that will be the determiner on everything that we do.  How we are able to manage our feelings will be the determiner of life events and life on earth. : )
